JRC Integrated Systems, Inc. Career Center is Hiring a Subcontract Administrator Near Huntsville, AL

JRC would like to hire a Mid to Senior Level Subcontract Administrator with the ability to also support general contract administration or management in either Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL. The selected individual will be given the opportunity to develop and enhance their professional, communication, and technical skills while applying what they have learned through experience that will help prepare them for their chosen career field. This position reports directly to JRC’s Sr. Manager, Contracts & Subcontracts.

Position Description:

  • “Cradle to grave” subcontract management including supporting prime proposals through closeout.
  • Responsible for bids that may require integrating proposals from subcontractors and other potential vendors.
  • Management of large prime contracts with multiple subcontractors with little supervision.
  • Prepare and administer subcontracts, task orders, and modifications, including applicable flow-downs.
  • Experience or ability to draft a Justification and Analysis to add subcontractors to a prime contract.
  • Organize contract & subcontract documents and file structures and report requested details in line with contractual requirements.
  • Review and disseminate Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements on behalf of JRC.
  • Ensure compliance with contracting policies, laws and regulations including but not limited to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS), Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act, and International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Advise management of subcontract risks and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Support staff negotiation of terms and conditions, price analyses, and drafting of subcontracts and other subcontract-related documents.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Contracts team.
  • Liaison with Defense Contract Management (DCMA) and other relevant agencies for sources, inspections, and quality checks.
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as needed.

Ideal Employee:

  • Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks.
  • Possess strong communication skills with an eye towards supporting multiple stakeholder interests.
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to conduct business in a professional manner.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including but not limited to MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint ideal.
  • CFCM/CPCM certification.
  • Experience handling large groups of subcontractors (greater than 15) simultaneously with minimal supervision while relaying execution data to JRC stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher level) from an accredited college/university.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Have 5 years of experience in Subcontracts Management, with either prior experience or a demonstrated ability/desire to support general Contracts Management.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
